The short version
Pick Apollo if you want to search a large contact database by title and industry, then run sequences from the same tool. It is good at that, and its data is broad.
Pick Sorawna if you already have a list, or you want to build one from a local business search, GitHub or a company search, and you need a real person and a work email for each row without paying per seat or per credit. You bring your own OpenAI, Serper and Findymail keys and pay those providers directly.
Side by side
Prices are public list prices at the time of writing. Check both sites before deciding.

Where Apollo wins
- A searchable database of contacts and companies you do not have yet
- Built in sequences, dialer and a Chrome extension for LinkedIn
- Intent data and job change alerts on higher tiers
- Years of reviews and a large support team
Where Sorawna wins
- No database markup. Research and email lookup run on your own keys at provider cost.
- Any column you can describe in a prompt, not only the fields a vendor decided to store
- Sources Apollo does not have: local businesses and GitHub developers, pulled straight into rows
- A spreadsheet your team already knows how to use, with results appearing live per cell
- A Free tier, and paid plans priced per workspace rather than per seat
Using both
Plenty of teams export a list from Apollo and enrich it in Sorawna: founder names Apollo missed, a custom qualification column, a fresh email check. Export CSV from Apollo, import it here, add the columns, send or export again.
Questions people ask
Is Sorawna free?
There is a Free tier with usage limits, and paid plans for higher limits, billed per workspace. Sorawna is in public Beta. On every tier the only other costs are what you pay OpenAI, Serper or Findymail for your own usage.
Does Sorawna have a contact database like Apollo?
No. Sorawna does not sell or store a shared database. It researches each row from the open web and from the providers you connect. If you want to browse millions of contacts by title, Apollo or a similar database is the right tool.
Do I need Apollo credits to use Sorawna?
No. Sorawna does not use Apollo at all. Email lookup uses Findymail on your own key, and research uses your own model key.
Can I import my Apollo export?
Yes. Export a CSV from Apollo and import it into a Sorawna sheet. Every column comes along, and you can add new ones on top.
