Terms of Service

1. The Service

Sorawna is a spreadsheet-native workspace for running AI tasks on your data at scale, including B2B data enrichment and research. The Service is currently offered as a free public beta. It is provided on an evolving basis and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice or liability.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. We use third-party authentication (e.g. Google Sign-In); their terms apply to that step.

3. Beta Status & Availability

Because the Service is in beta, it may contain errors, be interrupted, or lose data. We make no availability, uptime, or service-level commitments. Features may appear, change, or be removed at any time.

4. Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK)

The Service lets you connect your own third-party API keys (for example OpenAI, Google Gemini, Ollama, or search/enrichment providers). You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for all usage, fees, quotas, and charges incurred on your third-party accounts.
• Your use of those providers is governed by their own terms and policies, which you must comply with.
• We store your keys in encrypted form and use them only to perform the tasks you request, but we are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, pricing, or acts of any third-party provider.

5. Your Data & Responsibilities

You retain ownership of the data, prompts, and content you upload or generate (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service. You are solely responsible for Your Content, including any data about companies or individuals. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right and any required lawful basis, notices, or consents to collect, upload, enrich, and process that data, and that doing so does not violate any law (including data-protection and anti-spam laws) or any third party’s rights or terms (including the terms of websites or sources you draw data from).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break any applicable law or regulation;
• collect, scrape, or process data in violation of a source’s terms, applicable law, or individuals’ privacy rights;
• send spam or unsolicited messages, or facilitate harassment;
• reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; or
• infringe intellectual-property or other rights of others.

7. AI Output

The Service uses automated systems and large language models. AI- generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading, and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or other advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on or acting upon it.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by the operator of Sorawna and protected by applicable law. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or logos.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties (including hosting, authentication, AI, and search providers). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for any breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Sorawna will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or third-party API costs, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge during beta, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service (which is zero during beta).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Sorawna from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other. A specific legal jurisdiction will be designated once a formal operating entity is established.
